RAF Notecards The artists of the cards were eight of the hundreds of youth who participate in the Magic of Music program, a joint project of the Russian Arts Foundation and the Russian National Orchestra. The program serves children in Moscow's orphanages and special facilities for the mentally and physically disabled with on-site activities in art, crafts and music, and field trips to museums and performances. An annual highlight is the Magic of Music exhibition, when their drawings and paintings are shown at the Moscow Conservatory. Each of the eight cards in this set feature images which were prize-winning entries in the 1999 competition. Each features the name and orphanage of the artist.
These cards were produced specially for members of the Russian Arts Foundation who joined after already being subscribers to Russian Life. They are now available online and make great note or holiday cards.
