News from the Russian National Orchestra

Geweldige Muziek!

That's Dutch for "great music" - or so Google Translate tells us. Next month, the Russian National Orchestra will be making great music in Holland, with four concerts in Eindhoven and Amsterdam, including two at the world-famous Concertgebouw (above). For more information on concert programs, dates and times, visit the RNO On Tour page.

Abu Dhabi Festival

The Russian National Orchestra has planned a very special trip for its patrons and friends: to Abu Dhabi, from March 30-April 5, 2011. Making its debut at the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Festival, the RNO will appear with a galaxy of stars, including pianist Yefim Bronfman, opera greats Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Ekaterina Siurina, conductor Nicola Luisotti, and principal dancers from the Bolshoi, Kirov and American Ballet Theatre.

Along with glorious music, guests will experience the rich culture of Abu Dhabi, spectacular sites from ancient to modern, and the special events for which RNO trips are renowned. For more information, see the PDF linked here.

Highly recommended."
