Francesco Demuro was born in Porto Torres, Sardinia (Italy) the 6th of January 1978. Since a little child, he develops a passion for music and singing, which he loves. At the age of ten he has experienced his first stage presence and at twelve, he joins the Minicantadores (group of young singers of the traditional Sardinian song). At the age of fourteen, he starts singing occasionally with professionals, among which he starts to take part around 1994-95. Since then, he has immediately attracted the attention of the public (part of which already knew and appreciated him during his childhood). His voice has an extraordinary timber and is characterized by an incredible clearness. His previous experience, the intense application, the willingness to learn and a very receptive ear allow him to acquire a knowledge of the Sardinian song out-of-the-common, which ranges from old to recent interpreters. His gifted voice has a remarkable spreading. Francesco Demuro is in growing demand everywhere and has shouted ahead, winning a role of protagonist during the last ten years.

During the period 2003 - 2004 he has studied at the Conservatory of Sassari (Sardinia), and afterwards he joins the Conservatory of Cagliari (Sardinia), as a private student. Here he has taken singing lessons with the teacher soprano Elisabetta Scanu, with whom he still studies. He has made various recording works and has obtained a great sale succes. Also, he has appeared in local TV shows and was protagonist of many TV theme songs for the broadcasting Videolina and Sardegna1.

Future engagements include Luisa Miller in Sassari and in Parma, Rigoletto in Turin and La Boheme at the La Scala theatre of Milan.
