Magic of Music New Year's Party
On December 28, 2004, in the Orchestrion, the RNO threw a New Year's Party for children from the seven orphanages which particpate in the RNO's Magic of Music program. The RNO, conducted by Alexander Sladkovsky, performed Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite at the holiday concert.
Prior to the start of the concert, the children met with clowns and took part in various competitions. After the concert, there was a prize ceremony to honor the winners of the art contest, "How I See Music."
