Four Strings debuted during the September 2004 RNO Volga River Tour. Just three months later they toured in Singapore, where they performed local composer Mark Chan's String Quartet. "It is a brilliant ensemble, full of enthusiasm," Chan said.
In 2005, the ensemble participated in the RNO's Magic of Music program, performing a new version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for an audience of children from orphanages and hospitals. In August, the quartet performed in London, during the Russian Promenade festival.
The ensemble's repertoire includes a combination of classical works and original compositions, with special arrangements for soloists.
